Objective: With the development of society, the rage of life expands gradually, meanwhile, the people's requirement about the quality of life is increasing, and longing for longevity and healthy body. It's a important research field about the mechanism of aging, how to delay the process of aging and exploring the effective prescription of preventing aging, and so on. Thus, this research selects experienced prescription of department of traditional Chinese medicine in hospital attached to Hubei Institute for Nationalities Shenqitang as object, The prescription adopts ordinary Chinese medicine Zhujieshen as the main material, the combination of the prescription is simple, but is very effective. This research is to explore the effectiveness and mechanism of preventing aging with TCM, so that it can provide necessary theoretical basis of exploiting the usage of national medicine.Method: 40 healthy male SD mice, weighed 250-280g, were trained to swim after a week's observation, and divided into the following groups randomly: blank control group, normal group, Vitamin E group(vitamin E was used to gavages), Shenqitang group(suspension liquid of Shenqitang was used to garages), The medicine were given the next day after the division, then water mare test was carried out and SOD, MDA, NO, NOS, protein level in tissue were measured.Water mare test: experiments were carried the nest day after the last medicine. The square water mare test was made from transparent glass 100cm high and 100cm long. 30cm high. width of swimming path is 12cm,the length of swimming path is 220cm. the depth of water is 25cm. the fixed visual clue worse arranged so that the mice con refer to, and the circumstance was silence. The mice were trained three times a day for three days continuously, the 4th day was used to measure. The mice were arranged to swim once. The time from the beginning to ending and the error times in swim were recorded as achievement. The time was limited in 120s.Measurement of SOD. MDA. NO. NOS: the level of protein in tissue measurement. In the experiment of measuring SOD, normal saline was used to dilute 10% tissue homogenate supernatant into 1% tissue homogenate supernatant, 1% tissue homogenate supernatant were used to measure SOD, MDA, NO, NOS separately.Result:(1) water maze test: Shenqitang group and modal group. P=0.009(<0.01),按a=0.05. Shenqitang group and modal group have statistics difference, in water maze test, Shenqitang group and modal group P=0.012 (<0.05) have statistics difference, this indicates that Shenqitang group can improve the memorizing ability of aging model group.(2) the measurement result of SOD: Shenqitang group and modal group have statistics difference, this indicates that Shenqitang can improve the level of SOD in brain tissue of aging model group.(3) The measurement result of MDA: Compared Shenqitang group with modal group. Shenqitang group and modal group have statistics difference, this indicates that Shenqitang can reduce the level of MDA in brain tissue of aging model group.(4) The measurement result of NO: Compared Shenqitang group with modal group. Shenqitang group and modal group have statistics difference, this indicates that Shenqitang can reduce the level of NO in brain tissue.(5) The measurement result of NOS: Compared Shenqitang group with modal group. Shenqitang group and modal group have statistics difference, this indicates that Shenqitang can reduce the level of NOS in brain tissueConclusion: the result of experiment showed that the anti-aging mechanism of Shenqitang group is realized by improving memorizing ability, improving the level of SOD, reducing the level of MDA, NO and NOS in brain tissue.
