Modern pharmacology research shows that Ligusticum Chuanxiong Hort. has the aspect effects of system such as the heart and brain blood vessel, breathing, urinary, etc.,calming, easing pain, restraining the smooth musle, etc. The major ruction of this medicine is groundless cold cephalea is giddy, the painful abdomen of upper part of the side of the human body aches, numbness caused by cold tendon contraction, amenorrhea, difficult delivery, stagnate after the childbirth to hinder a piece from aching, ulcer skin and external diseases, etc. The thesis directs on the main active constituents of the effective part of Ligusticum Chuanxiong Hort. about promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis.Adopt modern common character key technology——supercritical CO2 fluid extraction(SFE), test that by orthogonality, optimize the conditions of SFE for Ligusticum Chuanxiong Hort. oil, and with traditional method steam distillation extraction(SDE) carries on comparison and has carried on practical confirmation. Result shows that the collect rate of the former extracts 13.15 times of effective part, main active constituent ferulic acid contents former are 29.23 times of the latter. Adopt GC-MS analysis method and the NIST mass spectra database to be distinguished and be compared to the chemical composition the SFE and SDE two methods extract. The former has been seperated and has identified 35 kinds components, the latter has been seperated and has identified 30 kinds components, the things extracting of two kinds of methods have 19 kinds common components, including the active constituents ligustilide, neocnidilide, senkyunolide, butylphthalide, butyldenep hthalide, etc.; Study results and references report are consistent. The science basis is provided to develop and make use of Ligusticum Chuanxiong Hort. rationally thereby.The anti-thrombus pharmacology experiment study is carried out on Ligusticum Chuanxiong Hort. oil extracted by SFE, 70% alcohol percolate of gruffs and aqueous extracts of Ligusticum Chuanxiong Hort.,the test results are analysed by statistics. The results show that the oil and the aqueous extracts have obvious effects, 70% alcohol percolate have certain effects. It have expounded Ligusticum Chuanxiong Hort. oil extracted by SFE promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis effect from this. This test have provided science basis on further researching and developing Ligusticum Chuanxiong Hort. oil thereby.
