Impatiens pritzellii var. hupehensis is one of "seven-medicines", the rhizoma is used in clinic, it has the function of Qufengchushi, Sanyuxiaozhong, Zhentongzhixue, Qingrejiedu etc. It can be used to treat Fengshitengtong, Guanjiezhongda, Jixingwanfutengtong, Shijifuzhangxiexie and Changyanliji etc. Pharmacological study validated that the extract of Impatiens pritzellii var. hupehensis has some pharmacological activities, including pain-killing effect, Anti-inflammatory effect and controlling the movement of tenue intestinum apparently, it has obvious effects on anti-rheumatoid arthritis. In order to explore, the theoretical basis of activating- blood effect and pain-killing effect, and find out the active part on pain-killing effect, The experiment was used to observe the Anti-inflammatory effect and the effect on Microcirculation of Mesentery of Ethanol Extract of Impatiens pritzellii var. hupehensis in Mice, and the pain-killing effect of Ethanol Extract Separate part of Impatiens pritzellii var. hupehensis.Methods We study the Tujiazu's rule of using "seven-medicines" by referring to interrelated literature and interviewing national doctors; The pain-killing effect was test by hot plate model and body twisting model induced by acetic acid in mice; Ear edema induced by dimethylbenzene and abdominal capillary permeability by acetic acid in mice were used to study the anti-inflammatory effects, we selected 40 mice and divided into 4 groups at random: normal saline group(ig, the same volume of normal saline), Aspirin group(ig. 0.2g/kg), high and low dosage of extract of Impatiens pritzellii var. hupehensis(ig. 20g/kg and 10g/kg), and observe the anti-inflammatory effects of extract of Impatiens pritzellii var. hupehensis; Another 10 mice were selected (ig. 0.5ml extract of Impatiens pritzellii var. hupehensis per mouse), Experiment of microcirculation observation in vivo was done to observe the effects of Impatiens pritzellii var. hupehensis to the normal mice's mesentery microcirculation, and measure the caliber of the vein and artery, and observe the opening amount of micro vessels before taking medicine and after it in 10 min, 20 min, 30 min, 60 min.Results The "seven-medicines" have the effect of Huoxuequyu, Zhixue, pain-killing, Xingqiliqi, Qufengchushi and Qingrejiedu etc. They can be used to treat Diedasunshang, Shechongdingyao, yongzhongchuangyang etc. Under most circumstances, single flavors medicine is applied, sometimes simple compound prescriptions are applied, only minority as the complex compound prescriptions were lead by "seven-medicines"; In the mice administered with high or low dose of n-BuOH part, the pain threshold was increased and the twisting number was markedly reduced(P＜0.01); Ethanol extract of Impatiens pritzellii var. hupehensis(10mg and 20mg.kg)can inhibit ear edema(P＜0.05 P＜0.01)and reduce the abdominal capillary permeability(P＜0.01); Ethanol Extract of Impatiens pritzellii var. hupehensis can improve the speed of blood flow of Microcirculation in the normal mice apparently, and also can enlarge the caliber of the vein and artery, increase the opening amount of microvessel, It begins to show effects in 10mins, reaches to the summit in 30min, and it still has good effect in 60min.Conclusion The "seven-medicines" have very good curative effect, and have very high value of application and development; The n-BuOH part of Impatiens pritzellii. var. hupehensis have pain-killing effect in mice, It is the active part of Impatiens pritzellii. var. hupehensis on pain-killing effects; Ethanol Extract of Impatiens pritzellii var. hupehensis, has Antiinflammatory effects, and has the effect of improving, the microcirculation of mesentery in mice, It is the one of mechanisms that it has activating- blood and pain-killing effect.
