Yin And Yang Meridians Clinical Observation Of The Side Treatment In Elderly Hypertensive Patients With Early Renal Damage

Abstract/Summary:
Objective:To observe the clinical effect and security of traditional Chinese herbsto treat Middle and old aged Early Renal Damage in Essential HypertensionPatients through the clinic study of Zi Yin Qian Yang Tong Luo prescriptionplus western mdicine. To probe the best therapy to cure the disease.Method:68 patients were elected from the out-patient and in-patient departmentscase in HuBei Province Hospital of TCM who were diagnosed Early RenalDamage in Essential Hypertension Patients. They were divided into twogroups at random: Zi Yin Qian Yang Tong Luo prescription plus westernmdicine group(A) and western mdicine group(B). Each group had 34 cases.Lotensin(Benazepril Hydrochloride) and symptoms treatment were given tothe group B. On the base of above treatment group A was added Zi Yin QianYang Tong Luo prescription. The course of treatment was 8 weeks.We observed the symptoms, signs and examined Lipemia,Renal Function,Live Function, Blood-Rt,Urine-Rt,Blood potassium,stool-RT,ECG ofpre-treatment and past-treatment. Urine microalbumin,β2 microglobulins,β-N-acetyglocosamidase were examined before and after treatment. Theresults were analyzed statistically in t, X2 and Radit test.Result:1. The total effective rate of group A was 82.35%, while group B was 67.65%. There was significant difference between them (P<0.05).2. The accumulative mark of TCM symptoms had distinctly decreased aftertreatment. There was signicificant difference between groups on the markafter treatment(P<0.01).3. Group A could decrease urine microalbumin,β2 microglobulins,-N-acetyglocosamidase and control Lipemia. The effect was better thangroup B (P<0.05 or P<0.01). 4. Compared with group B, group A had differential effect in improvingthe patients' clinical symptoms(P<0.05 or P<0.01).5. There was not abnormal change during treatment period. All the indexeswere stable or better after treatment. All these indicated that Zi Yin Qiangang Tong Luo prescription had not harmful reaction. It was safe in thecourse of clinical application.Conclusion:Group A had better effect to the Middle and old aged Early Renal Damagein Essential Hypertension Patients than group B in inprovingsymptoms, signs and experiment indexes(P<0.05 or P<0.01). Zi Yin QianYang Tong Luo prescription was safe, effective and harmless in clinicalapplication. Therefore, the united treatment could markedly keeplong-relief to the patients of Middle and old aged Early Renal Damage inEssential Hypertension.
