Pharmaceutical Intervention Programs In At-risk Populations In Community Hypertension Evaluation Studies

Hypertension is the major problem of public health in the world. Prevention and treatment of hypertension is the key to prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease. On the positive treatment of hypertension, while vigorously carry out community-based prevention, can effectively reduce the incidence of hypertension. So community-based prevention is an important part of the prevention and treatment of hypertension. The advantage of Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of hypertension lies in prevention. We have developed the intervention programmes of community population with hypertension which are based on the experience and demonstration of the experts. Our research is evaluating this programme through literature research and community-based survey methodology.Objective: According to the experts experience and feasibility studies, develop the intervention programmes of community population with hypertension, and through literature research and community survey two aspects of this study to evaluate intervention programmes, so as to demonstrate and improve the programmes.Methods: 1.The development of programmes: According to the demonstration of the heart and brain disease experts including both Chinese and Western Medicine, develop a programme named "The draft programme of Chinese medicine intervention about Hypertension risk groups in community" .2.Literature research:①Establish the literature database of hypertension prevention and treatment of Chinese by clinical literature.②Selected from nearly five years of 2001-2005 literature database, according to oral medication, complete drugs, accurate dosage, clear indications, such as screening standards to meet the conditions on the compound and related to the establishment of the Chinese herbal compound database.③Statistic the data by used the procedures, such as Spss statistical processing, and analysis the legislation of drug.3.Community survey:①Design community medical questionnaire of "Hypertension Prevention survey of Chinese medicine" and "The draft programme of Chinese medicine intervention about Hypertension risk groups in community" , including community treatment of hypertension, the level of doctors in community at present and feasibility of the intervention draftand so on.②Select a community of the investigation from the Xicheng District and Huairou District. Explained "The draft programme of Chinese medicine intervention about Hypertension risk groups in community" to the community doctor and make the doctor complete the two questionnaire.③Recovery and to consolidate the results of two questionnaire, statistic the data by used the procedures, such as Excel and Spss statistical processing, to understand the status of hypertension and its intervention in the draft feedback. Conducting a preliminary evaluation studies of community intervention programmes through literature research and community survey.Results: 1.Literature research: There are a total of 1,186 into literature database of Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of hypertension. The database of the Chinese herbal compound covers a total of 317 documents, including a total of 85 Chinese herbal compound, 156 kinds of traditional Chinese medicine, the total number to 978 medication. In the prevention and treatment of hypertension, Niuxi, Gouteng, Baishao, Danggui and so on is the use of high frequency single Chinese herbal medicines; Buxu drugs, Huoxue Huayu drugs, Pinggan Xifeng drugs is the most commonly used types of drugs.2.Community survey:①Results of "Hypertension Prevention survey of Chinese medicine" : Community treatment of hypertension, about 40 percent of the community doctors said that one third of their daily patients arehypertension, doctors used Chinese medicine means of treating hypertension only about 46 percent, 92 percent of the doctors agree that combining traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment, proprietary Chinese medicines are the most frequently used. Community doctors to interfere with the use of Chinese medicine to prevent the participation of views, most doctors believe that the patients with hypertension 1~2 class and has not yet suffering from hypertension are appropriative used in Chinese medicine as control methods. The testing of the current level of community doctors show that the overwhelming majority of the community doctors can make the right diagnosis and prescription for treatment of the hypertension's type of Ganyangshangkang and Ganshenyinxu.②Results of "communities at risk of hypertension in the draft programme of medical intervention in the questionnaire" show: The majority of the community doctors agree with used different ways in Chinese medicine for community groups to intervene. And our research has basically accepted, our research programme has been most of the community of doctors agree.Conclusion: 1.Through literature research, the use of Buxu drugs, Huoxuehuayu drugs and Pingganxifeng drugs are high frequency, which confirmed the prescription in the draft. Therefore, the draft identified the method of Buyi ganshen as control laws in intervention programmes of hypertension in the community.2.Through the analysis results of the questionnaire, the draft of "The draft programme of Chinese medicine intervention about Hypertension risk groups in community" are basically feasible. The community doctors are willing to accept it.3. Literature research and Community survey can help to make the intervention programmes of community population with hypertension perfect.
