| Objective: This Article collects 58 cases of patients with advanced cancer chemotherapy patients and analyzed retrospectively, to sum up Professor Hu's experience about regulating side effects of cancer treatment, and to explore Chinese medicine treatment about side effects of cancer chemotherapy and the future development direction; check the relevant literature both home and abroad, Summing up the discussions in recent years of Chinese medicine about the side effects of chemotherapy treatment on the status of progress.Methods: We collected 58 cases of dvanced cancer patients,who had used chemotherapy Fuzheng Prescriptions to alleviate chemotherapy side effects of clinical cases,between 2005 to 2007. by adopting the method of"self-control"then retrospectivly analysed recent results, and sum up the quality of life improvements.Results: The symptoms of the 58 patients who used Fuzheng Prescriptions was markedly improved. Their quality of life was improved and a certain period of survival was extended. 35 cases alleviate nausea and vomiting (94.6% response rate); 49 cases lack of appetite weak mitigation (92.5% response rate); 6 cases palpitation insomnia eased (66.7% response rate); 18 cases alleviate constipation diarrhoea(85.7% response rate); 5 cases alleviate peripheral nerve paresthesia mitigation (62.5% response rate); Interleukin treatment, hemoglobin, platelet decline in efficiency are as follows: 55.3% , 36.1% and 58.3%.Conclusion: Fuzheng Prescriptions can effectivly alleviate the side effects of chemotherapy and enhance the application of chemotherapy and improve the patient's quality of life. |
