Burdock Resource Survey And Arctigenin Preparation Process Research

Purpose:We carried on the investigation to the resources of Arctium lappa L.in China and the purpose is to divide the best production area of Fructus Arctii,to provide a basis for GAP ;we want to research best craft preparation of Arctigenin and supply raw materials for the new drug research and development.Material and method:To investigate the resources of Fructus Arctii in 12 provinces of Chinese 51 places ;Grey incidence analysis was used for the quality evaluation of Fructus Arctii in different places ; Use chromatography separation, spectral analysis and chemistry method to identify the compounds of Fructus Arctii; Use HPLC, Orthogonal design to research best craft preparation of Arctigenin.Results and conclusion:1.Through the resources investigation, we collected Fructus Arctii ,the leaf of Arctiun lappa L., soil samples and so on in 51 places. Detailed to record the growth of the environment, associated with plants of various ecological factors, as well as data. Along with the time development, the partial production area of Arctium lappa L. had changed, the northeastern region is rich in resources, and the northwestern has a great potential for producing Chinese medicines.2.The Mei HE-kou samples shows best quality, when adopted weight of thousand seeds and Arctiin as for evaluation of pharmaceutical quality. The sample cultivated in Songpan was evaluated as best, when adopted weight of thousand seeds and sprouting rate as indexes of quality evaluation. Fructus Arctii have nationwide distributiion, the northeastern region is rich in resources and has the better quality.3.Six compounds was isolated from Fructus Arctii, characterized to be Lappaol A, Lappaol C Lappaol F, Matairesinol, Arctiin, Arctigenin. Thus we have the further knowledge and understanding to the Fructus Arctii chemical composition, seek to more active constituents, thus develop the new medicine to lay the important basis.4. We determined the best craft of preparion Arctigenin.We used the Fructus Arctii that first to be deal with acid hydrolysis and second extractd by ethanol then isolated by column chromatography. This method is simple and convenient , is suitable for large-scale Commercial run.
