Hchai Stems And Leaves Of The Active Ingredient

Bupleurum smithii wolff var.parvifolium Shan et Li,a perennial herb of Umbelliferae Bupleurum,is mainly distributed in shanxi province, neimenggu province,gansu province,Qinghai province,ninxia province and so on.It is the main product of radix bupleuri for medicine in ninxia province.Six compounds have been obtained from the alcohol extract of Bupleurum smithii wolff var.parvifolium Shan et Li by solvent extraction and chromatographic separation.The structures of six compounds have been identified by optical spectrums such as IR,MS,NMR,and confirmed by other methods.Their structures were identified as 5,7, 4'-Trihydroxy-3'-methoxy-flavonol-3-O- rutinoside(Ⅰ),5,7,3',4'-tetraflavonol-3-O- rutinoside(Ⅱ),isorhamnetin(Ⅲ),5,7,3',4'-tetraflavonol-3-O-α-L-arabinofuranose(Ⅳ),quercetin(Ⅴ),laccaic acid D(Ⅵ),respectively.All compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time,and the compoundⅥ,one of the anthraqinone,was isolated from Bupleurum for the first time.
