Puzzle Capsule Pharmacodynamics

Objective: To study the influence of Yizhi Capsule on learning & amnesia andanti-aging.Material and method: The model mice of acquired memory disorder, stablememory disorder and reappeared memory disorder were made by pentobarbital sodium, sodium nitrite or chloramphenicol, ethanol, respectively. The aging model mice were made by D-galactose. After the large dose, middle dose and small dose of Yizhi Capsule were treated by intragastric administration different days (once per day), the ethological experiments (the methods of jumping stand, keeping away of dark, Y-labyrinth and water maze) were used to detect the effects of learning & memory ability of Yizhi Capsule on mice. The effect of antioxidation of Yizhi Capsule was also observed on the D-galactose induced aging-model mice.Results:1. After the acquired memory disorder model mice induced by pentobarbital sodium were treated 15 days by intragastric administration, in the tests of the methods of jumping stand, keeping away of dark, Y-labyrinth and water maze, Yizhi Capsule could decrease the mistaken reaction times, and could prolong the incubation of the first mistaken appearance to some extent.2. After the stable memory disorder model mice induced by sodium nitrite or chloramphenicol were treated 15 days by intragastric administration, in the tests of the methods of jumping stand, keeping away of dark, Y-labyrinth and water maze, Yizhi Capsule could decrease the mistaken reaction times, and could prolong the incubation of the first mistaken appearance to some extent.3. After the reappeared memory disorder model mice induced by ethanol were treated 10 days by intragastric administration, in the tests of the methods of jumping stand, keeping away of dark, Y-labyrinth and water maze, Yizhi Capsule could decrease the mistaken reaction times, and could prolong the incubation of the first mistaken appearance to some extent. 4. The natural aging-model mice induced by D-galactose were treated 21 days by intragastric administration, in the tests of the methods of jumping stand, keeping away of dark, Y-labyrinth and water maze, Yizhi Capsule could decrease the mistaken reaction times, and could prolong the incubation of the first mistaken appearance to some extent. Yizhi Capsule could raise the organ coefficient of brain, spleen and thymus to some extent; and it could also enhance the concentration of SOD and GSH-Px, but lower the concentration of MDA in the brain tissue and blood plasma of the model mice.Conclusion:1. Yizhi Capsule could improve the acquired memory disorder on the model mice induced by pentobarbital sodium to some extent.2. Yizhi Capsule could improve the stable memory disorder on the model mice induced by sodium nitrite or chloramphenicol to some extent.3. Yizhi Capsule could improve the reappeared memory disorder on the model mice induced by ethanol to some extent.4. Yizhi Capsule could improve the ability of learning & memory on the natural aging model mice induced by D-galactose to some extent, and it has some effect of antioxidation.
