Work and family are two of the most important fields which is closely linked in people's life. From the late in the 1950s, the relation of family and work is always the key research areas of organizational behavior, psychology and human resource management. This article take doctor the specific professional community as object of study, to analysis doctor work-family relations which based on the new home economics, the type of work-family relations, the influencing factor and countermeasure to balance the relations.This article has first studied the characteristic of the workers'market behavior and family behavior under the new home economics theory angle of view. Aiming at the limitation of traditional work-family relations theory, the author proposed the definition of work-family relations based on the new home economics. The next, author unifying the particularity of doctor occupation discussed the characteristic of their market behavior and family behavior based on the new home economics. Then summaried the characteristics and existence problems of doctors'work-family relations. Then according to the theoretical analysis, the author has carried on the investigation of doctors' work-family relations, further inquires into doctor's work-family relations and its influencing factor. Finally the author proposed the suggestion to balance doctors' work-family conflict. The paper's main conclusion is(1)Doctor and doctor's family conforms to the economic man supposition, doctor's work-family relations can be discussed based on the new home economics.(2)Based on the new home economics, what this article main inspection is the condition of doctor's work-family relations, conflict or not conflict. The conflict of work and family is caused by the insufficient of resources such as family human capital, effectiveness localization of target, time and so on to satisfy the work responsibility, the working time pledge, the family responsibility and the family time pledge.(3) Based on the new home economics, this article also inspects how the doctors and their family deal with work-family conflict. The empirical study discovered that doctors deal with the work-family relations mainly as a result of family member's support and understanding. Doctor will redeploy their time and energy in the work to balance the work and family.
