Objective:To explore the relationship between the aldosteron level and the estrodiol level and the occurrence of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome in ovarian stimulation in IVF-ET treatment.Method:This study was performed on thirty-eight patients who underwent in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer cycles from December 2009 to May 2010 in assisted reproductive center of Peking Union Medical Colledge Hospital. The patients were below 35 yr old and the antral follicle counts were more than 15. The level of sexal hormones on day 2-4 is normal. The reason of infertile including anovulation, the tubal abnormalities or male factors. All the patients were healthy and did not take any other medicine. The level of FSH,LH,E2,aldosteron were examined during the ovarian stimulation. Results:The serum estrodiol level was significantly higher in OHSS group on the day of human chorionic gonadotrophin administration(HCG day),its following day and oocyte retrieval day and embryo transfer day. The difference of aldosteron level was not significantly between the two groupes. To predict the OHSS by using the level of E2 sensitivity and specificity, the cutoff was 5634IU/L on the clay after HCG day. To predict the OHSS by using the level of aldosteron, the cutoff was 10.72ng/di on the oocyte retrieval day and its sensitivity and specificity were the best. The sensitivity and specificity were 90%,100% by combining the two cutoffs Conclusions:The level of aldosteron and E2 is meaningful for OHSS in ovarian stimulation of IVF-ET treatment, and it is more better by combining the two cutoffs.
