Objective:This thesis aims at summarizing the unique experience of Chief Physician Yang Minghui in treating vertigo and offers new methods of curing vertigo and improving curative effect.Methods:We haved writed the review of literatures, studied the etiology, pathology, and new methods of curing vertigo. In the past two years we learned how to make a perfect prescription from director Yang, and consulted him about lots of questions.On the foundation we can summarize the keys of syndrome differentiation, the characteristic of therapeutic methods, and the rule of medication of director YangResults:By summarizing predecessors'experience, director Yang related the main etiology of vertigo to liver wind with phlegm. Pathology's key is the confused movement of qi. Firstly he consider the basic therapy of vertigo is clearing wind and phlegm. Secondly The key of treatment is the movement of qi, rising the clear qi and falling the turbid qi. Thirdly he assists that syndrome differentiation should be combined with disease differentiation in both Chinese and western medicine. Forthly he emphasizes the curement of activate blood and remove stasis. Fifthly he treasure the curing of response period and nursing of outbreak.Conclusions:Basic and clinical researches have proved director Yang's theory is effective.
