The subject of information design is to transfer information effectively. The object of information design is to transfer special information approachably and clearly. To achieve this object, this paper discussed the visual language of the information design by the definition, history and principles. The direction of this research is how information design can deliver more effective information. This paper also researched the features of the visual language-the significant of information design in the function of the formal beauty. By theory research of the information design, the writer created information transparency and eliminated uncertainty, and tried to unite the "function" and "beauty" harmony. With the idea of the graduation work and the think of the design process, this paper analyzed the specific information that delivered to the audience by the visual communication, include the additional information. The Audiences' own thinking, understanding and perception also has very important significance in the information design work.
