Russian is referred to the East Slavic branch of the Indo-European language family, it is the official language of the former Soviet Union; Chinese belongs to the Tibetan language family and it is the world's most widely used language. Russian and Chinese are the richest languages in the world. As the international status of China gradually increases, people pay more attention to the Chinese language. In Russia, the students learn Chinese as the second language, and their number, as well as the number of international students, is tended to increase. Learning the phonetic system is the important part and the basis in studying the second language. In the domain of phonetics, Russian and Chinese are similar and different at the same time. This work focuses on the specific aspects of Russian and Chinese and compares them in order to find similarities and differences between the two languages. In learning Chinese, the students are more or less affected by their native language, and it usually generates a lot of mistakes. Overcoming the impact of the native language and making your Chinese pronunciation clear and accurate for good communication are particularly important. This work will analyze the general problems of Russian students in their learning Chinese, summarize the experience of learning Chinese pronunciation and give necessary recommendations.Partâ… :Overview of the Russian speech. This part introduces the Russian alphabet, vowels, consonants, noiseless letters, syllables, stress, prepositions, postpositions and assimilation of sounds. This part has the detailed description of assimilation, reduction, and other phonetic changes with vowels, voiced and voiceless consonants.Partâ…¡:Overview of the Chinese speech. This part introduces and minutely describes the characteristics of the Chinese speech, vowels and consonants, the phonetic transcription and the tones.Partâ…¢:Comparison of Russian and Chinese. This part focuses on three aspects of analysis and summarizes the similarities and differences between the two languages. In the first place, the work describes the types of combination of vowels and consonants in syllables in Russian and Chinese:according to the rule of combination, Chinese syllables are produced with the initial consonant sound and the final vowel sound, consisting of one or more vowels. The majority of Chinese syllables are formed by "consonant+vowel". As opposed to Russian, some of the words in Chinese can consist of "consonant+consonant" syllables. Russian syllables are more abundant, the combination of them is relatively free, and syllable boundaries in Russian are not so clear. In Russian, closed syllables dominate, while the majority of Chinese syllables are open. Some Russian syllables can be produced with the process of reduction. In Chinese, vowel syllables can be integrated into the whole syllable without their original characteristics. The work also analyzes the Russian and Chinese tone accents:in Russian, stress falls on the certain syllable and enhances the strength and the length of the syllable. Tone is the soul of the Chinese language and it's main feature, it has the distinct function and determines the changes of the pitch in a syllable. There are some differences between the word stress in Russian and the tone accents in Chinese. The variety of syllables in Russian is caused by the different combination of consonants, and by the tone changes in Chinese. The Russian stress, the pitch and the tone are relatively free, non-typed. But the four tones in Chinese are typed and determine the certain syllable. Finally, this work compares the phenomena of Russian and Chinese syllables:linking words while reading is a general phenomenon in Russian. The phenomenon of linking words also occurs in speech. The connection between the syllables in Russian is relatively free, re-combination of syllables and stress shifting are also possible. In the producing of Chinese syllables, adding "r"-sound to the end of the words, neutralization and other changes of tone take place; the reduction of vowels is not often found. However, as opposed to the other processes, adding the'r'-sound and neutralization of tone can have an influence on the timbre. Partâ…£:Analysis of the Russian students' mistakes in Chinese pronunciation. This part describes the problems of the students, studying Chinese as the second language, such as consonant and vowel sounds and the tone. The work also analyzes the reasons of the general mistakes made by the students from the Russian-speaking countries:firstly, because of the influence of the Russian language; secondly, because of the Chinese characteristics of the speech; thirdly, because of the Chinese teaching model. And finally, because the students themselves do not attach importance to the Chinese pronunciation. According to his own learning experience, the author provides some suggestions for the students to help them to avoid many problems in studying Chinese as the second language, including the influence of the native language and some differences in the Russian and the Chinese pronunciation. Tone perception training and typical exercises. Eliminating of psychological barrier. Correcting attitude towards personal learning and self-confidence. Overcoming the impact of the national character. Studying in an open-minded way and using different methods to arouse interest in learning the language.
