Use Of Folk Song Singing In Chinese Musical Thinking

The vocal music is the singing comprehensive carrier based on the need of human's cultural life. With its characteristic charm, Chinese national vocal music has developed from China to Asia and even come to the whole world. When Chinese national vocal music was played in Vienna Golden Hall, we get proud of its strong energy and appeal. In 1980s, after musical plays came into China, which were originated in the occident, some people has considered performancing them with the bel canto singing and the pop singing. Nowadays, the situation that more and more national vocal actors participating in musical plays which proves that Chinese national vocal music has been applied in musical plays successfully, doesn't has a theory to point out the successful experience. To meet the theoretical need, this paper summarizes the necessary connection between national vocal music and the Chinese musical play, by studying their respective origin and development. Especially, by researching on the successful examples of the Chinese national vocal music's application in the original musical play, such as "The equator's rain"," The star"," The snow storm" , and analyzing the usage of the application in detail, this paper validates the relativity, possibility and availability of the national vocal music's application in Chinese present musical plays, which can help the teachers of national vocal music make use of its advantage, do special exploration for the vocal music's prosperity and development and give valuable material of the vocal music theoretical education.
