From the information science point of view, the central executive function is an initiative of the external information processing, rational allocation of mental resources and to coordinate the control of information management systems. Selective attention itself is the information from the complex who were screened out useful information on mental processes. Note that in fact reflected in the working memory of a number of tasks competing for cognitive resources between the control selection process. Itself and is closely related to executive function. In order to study this relationship between them, from the central executive function of the three classic sub-components to proceed with selective attention to doing research. In this study, college students as subjects, the paper 218 college students were taken to be tested within the design, that all the subjects have done all of the experimental task. Do first selective attention tasks, which leads into the effectiveness of attention task, the target number of new heterosexual and interferences of three levels.In the experiment, the computer automatically presents all data and records, the use of correlation analysis, analysis of variance and regression analysis methods reached the following conclusions:(1) boys and girls as an effective novel target in the cue and invalid cue targets non-novelty interferences under the conditions with the increase in the number gradually increased reaction time. (3) selective attention and switching functions in addition there is no correlation, and the suppression, there is the refresh functions are more significantly related to, and refresh also a negative correlation, inhibition, and refresh there is a significant negative correlation. Through regression analysis, refresh function can explain 3.1% of selective attention.
