As one of the important contents in cognition psychology, most researches focused on the grammatical structure and information of text comprehension while less on oral comprehension. The central processor function is the key part of the individual’s cognition processing and plays an important role on the individual’s study, problem solving and speech comprehension. This study explores the effect of three main parts of central processor function, inhibition, shifting and updating on oral text comprehension.The study takes freshmen and sophomore as the subjects to measure the three components of central processor function. Stroop used to test the inhibition, local-global task for transferring ability and t letter memory task for updating. The subjects are divided into high and low group according to their scores on the three test. Then, the differences of process time between the two groups under different stressed situation are further compared. The conclusions are as follows:1. The ability of inhibition has significant effect on the stressed effect of text comprehension.(1) as for the low inhibition group, consistent stressed can promote text comprehension, inconsistent stressed hinders.(2) as for the high inhibition group, consistent stressed can not promote text comprehension, inconsistent stressed hinders to a certain extent.(3) there’s no significant difference between the high and low group under the inconsistent stressed situation, the difference gets near to be remarkable under the control condition and the difference is significant under inconsistent stressed situation. Therefore, inhibition most effects on text comprehension under the inconsistent stressed situation.2.The ability of shifting has significant effect on the stressed effect of text comprehension.As for the high and low shifting groups, consistent stressed can not promote text comprehension, inconsistent stressed hinders and hinders more for the low group. Moreover, the difference of the RT on target under the inconsistent situation between the two groups is significant.3. The ability of updating has no significant effect on the stressed effect of text comprehension.
