| Johann Sebastian Bach's Suites for Unaccompanied Cello have inspired listeners and performers for almost 300 years. Such magnificent work deserves thorough analysis and exploration. Before this study, the author have been sent to take a Master's programme in France for a year, during which the author had specic research on the Courantes. This work summarized the research results in a fashion focusing on the rhythmic and melodic analysis of small aspects. The main analysis methods includes function analysis, harmonic analysis, and melodic analysis, etc. |
