In recent decades , the development of bel-popular crossover is going to a very prosperous period , which is one of the most important branches of crossover vocals . Both at home and abroad the bel-popular crossover has emerged a large number of artists and works . This new type of vocal broke not only long-term confrontation between Bel canto and popular vocal , but also the bottleneck of the original singing classification for the development of vocal art . This emerging vocal style is the original method of adhering to the concert and the unique singing style and innovation in the pursuit of continuous by artists .It fits the current aesthetic psychology and meets the audience needs of the multiple performance. At the same time , it also brings a abounding audio-visual effect.Although the bel-popular crossover develops quite fast in China , but compared to the level of development in European and American there is a wide gap about market operations, personnel training and so on . We still need to pay our attention to the futher develpoment of the bel-popular crossover.The thesis consists of four parts:Part I:mainly introduction about the definition of crossover and crossover vocal,focusing on the classification and characteristics of crossover vocal.Part II:description about the occurrence and development of crossover vocal.We also introduce the similarities and differences between bel-popular crossover and other vocal types.Part III:introduction about development of bel-popular crossover at home and abroad.We try to explain the reasons for uneven development.Part IV:discussion future development about bel-popular crossover in China from three parts: works creation, market development and education.
