Attentional Blink is a phenomenon of studying attentional processes from the temporal dynamics. It requires individuals to identify the different stimulus in a rapid serial visual presentation. We usually present two target stimulus and required to identify a target stimulus. During the past years, many researches focused on the study of attention and emotional information processing. Therefore, the study usded the experimental paradigm of rapid serial visual presentation and combined with emotional factors to examine the attentional characteristics and the psychological mechanisms of individual from the visual and auditory point of view.In Experment 1, we manipulate all pictures of the present time(100 ms), the interval between the distractor and target (lag2, lag8) in Rapid Serial Visual Presentation (RSVP) paradigm, to study the characteristics of Attentional Blink of individual, especially the role of emotional factors. The results indicated that (1) Significant gender differences were also uncovered, with feale demonstrating stronger to attention blink. (2) Accuracy was significantly worse at lag 2 than at lag 8, indicative of a spontaneously induced attentional blink that recovered the target was temporally more separated from the critical distractor at lag 2.(3) Participants were significantly worse at detecting a sole target in an RSVP stream when an emotionally negative picture, rather than a neutral or scrambled-negative picture. In Experiment 2, we manipulate the critial distrsctor stimulus (conditioned, non-conditioned), the interval between the distractor and target (lag2, lag8) in Rapid Serial Visual Presentation (RSVP) paradigm, to study the characteristics of Attentional Blink of individual from the visual and auditory point of view. The results showed that (1) the aversiverly conditioned stimulus caused larger impairments than the non-conditioned type. (2) the main effect of lag was not significantly for all dictrator categories, but the aversively conditioned stimulus at lag 2 casued larger impairments than at lag 8.Integrated two experimental results, we obtain the following conclusions:(1) Compared with male, negative emotions elicited the female's attention Blink, moving towards to the later lag.(2) At the auditory processing, conditioned stimulus aggravate the individual of Attentional Blink.(3) Lag 2 was the critical moment of attentional blink, due to the inhibition of distractor stimulus deficiencies at lag 2.
