In the economic globalization of the 21st century, the ecological crisis has become a global focus of concern. To solve ecological crisis and how people and nature live in harmony, become the biggest concern of the people from all walks of life. Considering the ecological status nowadays, the ecological aesthetics appears and develops gradually in the 1990s, which becomes the focus of the academic circles. It begins from the aesthetic angle of the people and the environment, and give attention to the relationship between man and society, man and universe, people and themselves, which is aimed to the harmony state of people, nature and society. This paper, based on the connotation of ecological aesthetics using ecological aesthetics theory gives attention to the works of Zhang Wei, and gives meticulous reading and analysis, which digs and analyses its natural beauty, ecological natural beauty and ecological ideal beauty. It analyses Zhang Wei's pursuit of harmonious beauty of his work, and discusses the literary value and practical significance of his work.The paper is divided into five parts:introduction section, discusses the appearance of ecological aesthetics, and introduces this thesis research perspectives. In order to have a better understanding of the connotation of ecological aesthetics, the first chapter presents the appearance of ecological aesthetics, the connotation and the principle. The second chapter begins from the relationship between human and nature, digging the natural beauty in his works, to show the harmonious beauty. Analyzed from three aspects:the first quarter:love of life:man and animals. It analyzes the relationship between man and animals, discusses the ecological natural beauty of man and animals, and shows the beauty of harmony from his praise, love and respect for animals,. In order to deeply understand Zhang Wei and his works, this section will analyse the reason why his works reveals ecological natural beauty. The second quarter:the earth love: man and earth. It discusses the ecological natural beauty of man and earth, shows the beauty of harmony from his praise, love, nostalgic and respect for the earth and the grass, and rivers. The third quarter:blue love:man and sea. It discusses the ecological natural beauty of man and the sea, and shows the beauty of harmony through the analysis of the love, respect and yearning for the sea in his works. Chapter 3 begins from the aspect of ecological real beauty, standing on the angle of the ecological nature to analyse and discuss his pursuit of the ecological natural beauty from both the positive and negative aspects. The first quarter shows beauty from his praise of human nature. First, it shows the ecological source from the name and the image creation of the characters. Secondly, it shows the ecological chain from his understanding of the relationship between man and nature. The second quarter shows the ecological real beauty from his slam of human alienation. First, it introduces the meaning of alienation and human alienation. Then, it shows his ecological consciousness from his blind worship for human alienation and technology. The fourth chapter is the analysis of his works from the two aspects of fleeing the opposition and pursuing the harmony and discusses his pursuit of ecological ideal beauty. The first section discusses the reasons and the essence of his escape from opposing. The second section analyses topics and characterization and discusses the pursuit of an ideal home. The ending part summarizes the value and practical significance of researching his works from the perspective of ecological aesthetics.
