Content Features And Aesthetic Style Of The Tang Dynasty Rebecca

The relationship of verse and music is extremely close. Ancient verses are not only "there is painting in the poem", but also "there is music in the poem". The musical verses, directly performing music in the form of poetry, are the perfect agreement of technical skill, musical instrument, tone color, and smart insight; are the conformity of world metre and metre inside poet spirit; are the harmony of musical poem and the musicality of poem to mutually melt. The origin of musical poems can trace back to and Chu Ci, even earlier, and attain prosperity till Tang Dynasty.This thesis combs the skeleton of musical poems' development clearly and briefly at first, using music and music- related verses in whole Tang's poems for research objects, finding out reasons that Tang Dynasty enjoys musical poems' prosperity to carry on concrete discussion and the characteristics of poems' contents and dissimilarity of aesthetical styles under the background of different cultures especially of different religions and philosophy. According to the different characteristics of musical idea, the musical verses of Tang can divided into two kinds: concretely describe musical objects and sentimentally express feelings. Choices and combinations of different music idea formed different poetry. In the mutually combination of poetry and music, The musical verses of Tang formed such aesthetical styles as eligant, fresh, splendour, bleak etc, thus together making the verses in Tang Dynasty including the other types of verses of Tang tending to perfection. The thesis finally pointed out that the musical verses of Tang Dynasty inspired contemporary verses on poem's respect in the verse internality rules, poet's disposition and the rhythm of verses.
