Genet is no doubt a bright flag among the modern dramatists. He is good at utilizing the illusions, dreamlands and rituals to build up his scripts which are full of wild imaginations. He and his plays are precious treasure in the history of world theatre. These scripts teem with personal characteristics, but lack of plot, character, concordant structure and social reality. The interpretations for these scripts are consequently difficult. The five masterpieces of Genet's are'Death Watch','The Maids','The Balcony','The Blacks', and'The Screens'. They are not only similar in many details, but also share one theme of marginal man. This paper tries to make interdisciplinary research on Genet's five masterpieces by utilizing narratology and structuralism, combining psychology, sociology, folklore and anthropology. This paper also attempts to summarize the common structure in the narrations, compare the structure with Genet's real life, and locate the archetype of the real life. Accordingly, the paper proves that there exists one homologic narrative structure in the five masterpieces of Genet's.
