In todays society, public art has gradually involved in all aspects of life in the city. Leisure Square, residents of the community and other public environments are closer to the art with the development. However, public art works that exist in "highbrow", "difficult to be loved by the different tastes" and other issues. It generates a variety of obstacles when the people try to enjoy many of the public art, which can not achieve effective interaction between the public art and the people. The existence of public art focuses on"public". However, the value of an art work requires a dialogue with people and then the interaction can be achieved and extended. This not only brings the difficulties and challenges to create public art, but also put forward new thinking perspective for public art.This article focuses not only on the interaction between public art and people but also the interaction that occurs in some of the key issues and expands multi-faceted depth profile. After the current widespread public art "from the people," the problems and phenomena of the field investigation, I found the reason why many public arts and people keep distance, the reason is: artists neglect the aesthetic needs of the public as well as aesthetic indifferent, ignored the mass balance between the aesthetic acceptance and the works of art. Somebody even separate the people's life from the art creation. This has resulted in the present "highbrow" situation and it is very difficult for the majority of the public to appreciate and understand many of the current works of public art. It is much less to have a dialogue with these works and there is no interactive relationship. To tell the truth, a public art work can not be perfect and then all people appreciate and love it. Many of the current works of public art in the interaction with people has the "difficult to reach" problem. It is also an interactive effect, which would be restricted to some extent. This is a contradiction because no art in the public accords the specific cultural environment with the development of appropriate art form. It seems that it is difficult to change this contradiction. If the creation of public art and the aesthetic needs come from the general public, the artists bring art to life, design according to the particular environment and create the aesthetic interest which consists the local public with the "public interpretability "of the art form, we can greatly narrow the distance between public art and people to achieve effective interaction between them.The analysis and possible resolution for the interaction are discussed in this article. It talks about styles, materials, forms to display the art works and the high technology which works together to better promote the interaction between the public art and people. First, it explores how to strengthen public participation in the intensity of the creative process in order to mobilize the public in the interaction on the initiative. Second, it seeks the hidden function of the materials as an interactive role to identify the aesthetic characteristics of the material itself. Last, in terms of the art work activity and technological innovation, it seeks to promote the interactive mode between the art and the public. It aims to look for an effective method in the depth and breadth to overcome the obstacles between the public art and people.
