Sixteen States Period, Zhao Territory Administrative Region Study

The Hou Zhao Empire held a very important position during the 16 Vassals period, it served as a link between past and future. Inherited its major political legacy, the famous Qian Qin Empire unified the northern China.This MA paper using textual research technique, try to reconstruct The Hou Zhao Empire's territory transformation and administrative region evolution process, within the first part, the author discriminate abundant of traditional Literatures and the fundamental historical material, describe the systematic change of its territory year by year, using its capital Xiang Cheng as the center, and divided the realm into four parts and follow four different directions. The second part mainly based on the first part job's results, and the second part try to retrace its administrative region's setting, dismantling, and evolution process and pathway more precisely. The administrative region's condition will contains two parts, one is the prefecture governed by the municipal, and another is counties governed by the different prefectures. This paper using tabulation format, to demonstrate the tridimensional framework about The Hou Zhao Empire's territory and administrative region, besides, the author choose 3 representative times to draw a series of professional maps, in order to show the major condition of this special empire.
