Kant is a typical deontologist, as well as his deontology is a very important component elements in history of ethics. However, on the idea of duty and moral values, kant thought that a agent is properly morally motivated just in case he acts form duty alone, which suffered from the contemporaries and later generations have kept on questioning, maintenance and correction. Thses challenges had happened on Schiller. As Barbara Herman had said that Kant's ethics has become its"critics of the prisoners". This article tries to show the debate and have a deep understand on Kant's deontology.This article is divided into three parts: the first part is to re-sort Kant's deontology, where there will be debate focused on; the second one focuse on the debate on Kant's deontology between Williams, Stock and Barbara Herman; the third one focuses on the different views that maintenance on Kant's deontology. Through this article, the author hope that achieve such a purpose that is comprehensive and clear understand on action on Kant for debate.
