Parents To Accompany The Pupils Self-awareness And Academic Relations

Family education plays an important role in the field of modem education, has been caused many people's concern. And parental company, as an integral part of the family education, is helpful for the child's physical and mental development.It is very valuable both in theory and practice to research and explore. Based on the previous researches at home and abroad, the questionnaire of parental company status is designed with the research methods of literature analysis and inventory investigation, and we verified its reliability and validity. Then we investigated the relationship among parental company, the pupil's Self-concept and academic achievement by the questionnaire of parental company and the existing Children's Self-concept scale.The following conclusions can be drawn from this study:(1) Pupils' parental company comprises raising company, learning company, entertainment company and emotional company. The parental company questionnaire designed in this study consists of mother company and father company, and it has been proven to be of fine reliability and validity and can be used as an effective tool to measure the pupils' parental company status.(2)This study found that there are significant differences between father company status and mother company status. Both the time mother with the children and the level of mother company is higher than father's. Besides, the pupils' father company exist significantly differences in grades and father's degree of education. The lower grade elementary students get higher level of father learning company than senior pupils; And with the fathers educational level increased, the levels of fathers entertainment company, raising company and emotional company are also increasing. The pupils' mother company exist significantly differences in mother's degree of education, the mother's educational degree higher, the level which accompanies to children's entertainment is also higher.(3)The correlation analysis shows that there is a significant correlation between the time father spend with their children and children's self-concept. The four dimensions of father's company and mother's raising company, entertainment company, emotional company also exist significant correlation with pupils self-concept.(4)The correlation analysis of parental company status and pupils academic achievement shows that there is a significant positive correlation between the time father spend with their children and children's academic achievement. And there exists different degree correlation between four aspects of parental company and children's academic achievement.
