Content:Liu yuxi is a famous scholar as well as statesman and thinker. His life is full of frustration, but also brilliant and successful. How to lead the life with tragedy to succeed, is important for us to learn. This article is trying to analyse the procedure of change, development and maturity of his surviving mentality during the life full of frustration, and on this basis, to explore his nature spirit. The insistence spirit make him have the related attitude to environment in different surviving states. It is the dynamic change and development of surviving states that make him stick to his nature quality. We can see that the frustration destroyed his life, but it also helps him accomplish his life. His confrontation with frustration makes his life more brilliant. His personality becomes more perfect during the adjustment and accumulation of his living mentality.To fully analyse the mentality phased character and the spirit therein of liu yuxi' mentality in different periods, this article will discuss in five parts:The first part is the introduction of this article which will discuss in three aspects. It is the time that decide the the surviving environment the scholar dwelling in, as well as the mentality, based on that. Yuxi has his own style different from writers of the same generantion because of this and he can ajust himself to different living conditions, which includs spirts of regarding the world as his own responsibility and carrying on and looking down upon setbacks. These qualities are attached to liu yuxi and won't wear out no matter how terrible life is.The fifth part is the conclusion after the large amount discussion of the front parts. The surviving mentality of Liu Yuxi is the change based on his spirit which is also sticked during the change of mentality. The mutual promotion of both of them make the success of Liu Yuxi.
