Study Of The Transition Of The Marriage And Ethical Issues

Due to the development of economy, we are facing a changing time including the change of social politics, philosophy, culture as well as the public's minds, especially in the area of marriage. New change calls for new marriage ethics. Numerous social problems brought by the uncertain factors from the changing life shows the social order has been affected and more and more people have to face serious pressure. To some extent, the meaning of love changes, and marriage has great relevance with the material factors, such as money, house and car, which brings great challenge for the modern marriage ethics. In fact, in the aspect of marriage behavior regulation, marriage order stabilization, marriage intention purification, the marriage ethics plays an important part. The forming of the system of marriage ethics needs a gradual change from the beginning level to the perfection level. At present, our marriage ethics faces the pressure from the traditional marriage ethics as well as the western marriage principles. Based on this foundation, this article is set up with the aim at analyzing the current problem exists in the modern marriage of the present marriage ethics, get the future trend of the modern marriage, and establish the reforming marriage ethics accommodating to the present social situation eventually.The article is divided into five parts. In the first part, the meaning of this research and the present situation analysis will be introduced. In the second part, the basic concepts and theories of modern marriage ethics are illustrated. From the perspective of relations of marriage, partners and marriage morals, this chapter is introducing the present marriage ethics as well as the latest achievement from the modern marriage morals. The third part is showing the main problems exist in the modern marriage, including the material factors, divorce rate, love affairs as well as the unequal relationship between the male and female from the angle of social, economy, law and social life. In the fourth chapter, the future trends of the modern marriage ethics is emphasized including the foundation of single value and family value orientation, the combination of traditional and modern marriage morals, the equal relations between partners, the combination of obligation and emotion libration, as well as the partners' status. In the fifth part, the goals of establishing modern marriage morals are highlighted. The marriage should be laid on the foundation of love; the couples should obey the marriage principles, and be frank to each other which could help to establish the harmonious marriage. The education from the school and family, the obligation of law and the public marriage morals and the advanced social surroundings will function together to build the sound marriage ethics system.
