Performing Teaching "to Observe Life Practice Unit

As the start point of the professional acting teaching, the significance of the basic stage of teaching is self-evident. In the basic stage of the professional acting teaching, the "Life Observation Exercises" serves as a connecting link between the preceding and the following teaching. We divided the "Life Observation Exercises" into two phases in practice: the first phase is the process of observing, imitating, accumulating, and experiencing the life; the second one is the process of inducing and inspiring the creative thinking and creative imagination of the students, the process of forming and shaping their own creative artistic presentation of the life based on the exploring, recognizing, processing, enriching, and refining the raw materials from the life. With the tremendous development of the society and the ages, a lot of changes take place in the basic stage of the professional acting teaching. Both from the perspective of the student, and from the perspective of the theatrical educational environment, the basic stage of the professional acting teaching is indispensable. Considering the rapid development of professional acting teaching and the sharp changes of the composition of the students enrolled, the author of this dissertation put forward brand new ideas about the basic stage of the professional acting teaching.
