Zhou Daxin is a civilian writer who has walked away from Nanyang Basin during the new period. He is not only a leader in Nanyang writers and Henan writers but also a new representative military writer. Nanyang Basin owns rich historical cultural relics and it brought up Zhou Daxin as a writer. When Zhou Daxin walked away from Nanyang Basin, culture nostalgia has become his eternal topics.During Zhou Daxin's novels, the largest number of the highest artistic achievements is his rural novels. His novels, all drawn from the villages and local villagers from Nanyang Basin. Zhou Daxin affectionately describes the civilian stories and civilian lives of Nanyang Basin. In the hustle and bustle, turbulent and radical contemporary literary scene, Zhou Daxin with his quiet, warmth and calm, keeps looking at the perseverance of Nanyang Basin - the place of his "physical growth" and "spiritual maturity".Zhou Daxin's novels have a strong realism and romanticism. Zhou Daxin inherited and developed the Chinese modern novels tradition of the enlightenment and lyrical.
