A Study On The Ethical Narrative Of Zhou Daxin's Local Novels

Zhou Daxin is a civilian writer from the Nanyang Basin,who is the leader of the writers from Nanyang even the leader of the writer from Henan Province,who is also a representative of military writers.Among Zhou Daxin's works,rural novels based on the Nanang basin are in a large proportion and make the greatest achievement.In this thesis,based on the theory of “ethical narrative”,the author studied the rural novels of Zhoudaxin from three aspects: the family ethics,love ethics and interpersonal ethics,trying to find out the artistic value of his special creation.The family ethics narrative of Zhou Daxin's rural novels embodies the author's rational examination of the ethic and the family.On one hand,as a cultural metaphor and ethical demands,family norms make the family blood continued,the family spirit inherited.On the other hand,parents led to the human race tragedy,revealing that family culture is devoid of human defects.Through the close reading of the novels,it is found that Zhou Daxin expressed the call and the pursuit of the positive part of the traditional family ethics spirit in the conflict between traditional family ethics and modern civilization.Zhou Daxin's love novels of rural novels show the cultural tension of sex separation.The traditional marriage ethics in his novels are mostly are the maintaining of marriage without love and the inheriting of the chastity concept.Love does not has an independent space,which often be covered or sheltered by the squeezing of career,material and power.The rural women want to pursue the instinct desire,overturn the traditional moral admonition,but they hovers on the edge of sexual morality helplessly.Through the text analysis,it is found that Zhou Daxin's rural novel reveals the ethical conflict and cultural reason behind the separation of sex.The ethical narratives of Zhou Daxin's rural novels reflects the alienation and reconstruction of traditional rural culture.With the transformation of the modernity of the native China,the great change of the rural society has affected the interpersonal relationship in the traditional village.Zhou Daxin expressed the ethical crisis of moral affair caused by the peope's indifference and the moral confusion with the rural political marketization,which is in relation to the money.He also expresses his idea of building a ideal spiritual home by shaping the image of rural women,the salvation and religious conversion,etc.In short,through the above analysis,it is thought that Zhou Daxin's local novel profoundly expresses the pain,decadence and confusion of the traditional rural ethic culture under the impact of China's social modernization process.In this great transformation of the rural society,the author has both a thorough critique of the traditional feudal ethic of the rural areas of the basin,but also a reflection of the traditional ethical alienation,and a pleasing call to the traditional good ethics,expressing a well-known contemporary writer Social mission and responsibility...
