Zibo Positioning Of Urban System Historical Analysis

This is the first paper that systematically talks about the historical ge-ography of Zibo city from four aspects: the enviromental backgrounds, thecourses of development and evolution, the analysis of present conditionsand the developing prospect.FirsI come the investigations into the enviroments and their changesin which Ziho city took shape and developed in the light of its climates,topgraphy, rivers, agricultures and transport conditions. On such a basisfollow the discussions on the development and evolution of main cities andtwons in Zibo. The auther makes researches into the courses of the riseand fall of five cities and towns, Linzi, Zichuan, Zhangdian, Boshan andZhoucun based on their own respective conditions. Another part discussesthe present conditions--virtues and defects, of the system structure in Zi-bo city. Finally the auther makes a prospect and design for the future ofZiho city.This paper contains 4200 words with l diagrams and 10 maps.
