"strange Tales" Narrative Art

The thesis is aimed at presenting a discussion on the characteristics and achievements of the art of narration of LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI. The thesis involves three main parts:Introduction,the first part,introduces the historical status,the situation of research of LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI as well as the emerging conditions of the art of narrion of LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI.The second part,the main body of the thesis,has four sections:the art of narrative point of view of LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI,the art of narrative structure of LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI,the art of narrative time and space of LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI,the art of narrative language of LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI.These four sections give a detailed analysis of and study on the art of narration of LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI,and indicates the significance of the study. The purpose and significance of the thesis:1.Resorting to the theory of narratololgy,it tries to present a thorough and detailed study on the art of narration of LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI and makes it systematic;2.Through studying the relationship between the art of narration of LIAO ZHAI ZHI YI and Pu Songling's emotional experience,it discusses the factors that infulence the art of narration of novels so as to promote development of the art of novel and prosperity of Literal creation.
