The third generation poetty is the result of the Chinese Post- modernism poetry movement. The thesis gives a historical analysis to its life form in eighties and nineties from two angles of rebellion and reconstruction. What抯 more, a Whole study of it is also made. The third generation poetry, in eighties, rebelled against Human being, God and traditional language for the purposes of opposing metaphor poetry, eliminating traditional poetry, occupying the poetical stage. In nineties , however,they began to reconstruct the poetical order. The main authors were regularized two kinds of writing trends , intellectual style and folk style , were formed . Their behavior had provided new thinking ways and writing methods for the Chinese poetry which were at a loss.
