The paper makes a comparison between the deaf adolescent and the heaqp , aging from eleven to eighteen years old, in respect to discrimination of facial expression of emotion .The gathered data were analyzed and revealed :the deaf are inefficient than its counterparts in this aspect at all ages .The deaf s deficiency in gaieralized language ,as result of deafening .affects their exact understanding to the surroundings and the events .including the facial expression of emotion ,but discriminating the facial expression is one of the most important channel for the deaf during communication . so a suggestion is offered :when using sign language ,the deaf shoudn't ignore the verbal Chinese, which can help to improve their abstract thingking and perceptual comprehesion.
