Although the creation of Wang Anyi during the recent 20 years has various styles and evident changes, the idea of roaming and the fatalistic feeling as the spiritual character are always penetrating through the development and the change of the writer's creation from the beginning to the end.Roaming is the everlasting fate of mankind. The roaming of Wang Anyi is the mixture of the feelings of solitary and helpless and the feelings of tiny and weak, is the reflect of the wandering spirit, and also is the tangle of the profound longing for the 'homeland' and the fatalistic confirm of the impermanence of fate which exist only in women's innermost heart. The author starting with' where should we go ', 'on the way 'and the specific women's psychology, analyses the idea of roaming in Wang Anyi's world of texts. Fatalism is the helpless feeling of every individual life living in reality. Philosophical thought that towards fate and dialectical understanding towards contingency and inevitability are the embodiments of the fatalistic feeling existing in Wang Anyi's subconscious. And at the same time, there is hidden link between Wang Anyi's writing form and her fatalistic spiritual character. Roaming and fatalism tangle up in Wang Anyi's world of text and mind. The roaming soul needs the comfort of fatalism and the fatalistic feeling can be understood as a kind of roaming having special form and meaning. The two exist together and are united in Wang Anyi's world.
