In all the explanatory texts which are preserved today, Wang Yi' s Syntactic and Semantic Analysis of Chuci is the oldest and intact one. Its philological value is great too. But the different manuscript copies of Syntactic and Semantic Analysis of Chuci which can be seen today lead to various editions, it is imperative to rectify them. So this article tries to study Wang Yi' s Syntactic and Semantic Analysis of Chuci from the philological perspective.First, to investigate the different versions of Syntactic and Semantic Analysis of Chuci which can be seen today. They can be classified into three schools: Selections of Refined Literature edition, Supplementary Annotation of Chuci edition and separate edition school.Second, to study the philological value of Syntactic and Semantic Analysis of Chuci. It retains a great quantity of explanatory and phonological data. Wang Yi is also the first man who use the Chu dialect to annotate Chuci. In a word, it is the best explanatory text of Chuci which is an agglomeration of the achievements in the research of Chuci at the First and Second Han Dynasty.Finally, the writer selects more than one hundred corrupt texts that he has found, then tries to rectify them. According to this, the thesis probes into the methods to collate the different texts of Syntactic and Semantic Analysis of Chuci. At last, it is advocate that more scholars had better pay high attention to the collation of Syntactic and Semantic Analysis of Chuci, so that we can sort out a version which is closer to the Wang Yi' s original manuscript as soon as possible.
