There is a special relationship between Chinese New PeriodLiterature (1978------1989) and Soviet-Russian Literature. Therelationship depends on the high tide of translating the Soviet-Russian Literature into Chinese at the background of "the overall Sovietized" in 1950s in our country. And this spreads the seeds which have an effect on the Chinese authors of New Period Literature. In the first part "Acceptance", this paper expounds the identitized ideology in the translated texts of the Soviet-Russian Literature. Enumerating the facts that many Soviet-Russian important words have been translated; and introducing many Chinese interpreters who specialize in translating the Soviet-Russian Literature show clearly that such a climax of translation is to exert a great influence on Chinese Literature. In the second part "Influence", the paper reveals the situation which the Chinese New Period Literature sucks the milk of the Soviet-Russian Literature. And it shows the objective reality of exchanging and affecting the literature between the two countries byexpressing two themes-----"human sympathy" and "heroism". Thus itcompletes the whole picture how Chinese New Period Literature learns from the Soviet-Russian Literature, accepts it and uses it as a reference.
