Sartre is the most famous existential philosopher in France. He developed a newstyle in esthetics. From imagination and liberty, Sartre studied aspect problemsof esthetics. Sartre thought beauty did not exist in the realistic world, onlyexisted in the imaginary world. The essence of imagination is at liberty, sobeauty is created freely by people in the imaginary world, and the work of art iscreated by imagination. It revealed people's true being and reflected people'sdestiny. Like this, Sartre united being and being-in-itself by imagination andconstructed an artistic and aesthetic world. It shows that Sartre's imagination isnot only a kind of thought method, but also a positive action and is also a kindof means, tool that fights for the liberty, exceeds the actuality. The absoluteliberty of Sartre makes people get away from the domination of desire, exceedthe traditional custom, and realizes the independence of spirit by creating andenjoying arts. Sartre made the action of esthetics extend to the realistic world tounite the life and exploited the aesthetic of compass. From philosophy andesthetics, Sartre's literature embodied his imagination and liberty, caused us tothink about deeply individual and society, contingency and necessity and so on.From this meaning, Sartre's esthetics is a kind of ethnics esthetics. It has alreadypermeated in people's daily life and behavior or much or little, let people find areasonable idea in the unreasonable realistic world, made people get away frompang and mooch and get the healthy, general development.
