The Theory Of Conversational Implication And Its Role In The Analysis Of Pragmatic Inference In The Session

The theory of conversational implicature makes a great contribution to language study,especially Grice's theory of the Cooperative principles which opens a new and fresh'door for those who are interested in the use of language. However,with the deep study of the nature of language,some phenomena in language cannot be well illustrated or interpreted with it,especially the feature of generalized conversational implicature and some socialized conventions which make great effects on language itself. This paper will focus on the function of Neo-Gricean Theory of Conversational Implicature in discourse analysis,trying to find a new way making full use of language.
