Our domestic popular brands currently are facing new challenges at a time when our country has been admitted into the WTO, our economy is soaring, and the market competitions are increasingly getting fierce. The author discovered, after thorough investigations into some of the domestic popular brands and comparative analyses of internationally popular brands, a lot of domestic popular brands lack brand awareness. Even for those enterprises which successfully formulated brand strategies and tactics, there exist many problems which need immediate attention, like in the areas of design strategies. Aiming at the above-mentioned problems, the author proposed strategies in three aspects for domestic brand designing:1. identification strategies for brands; 2. culture strategies for brands; 3. persistent development strategies for brands.Last, but not the least, the author made detailed analysis and elaborated on the prospects of the domestic brand development.
