The female aesthetic attitude of Cao Xue-qin is mainly seen from the figures of female themselves in Dream of red chamber and the Jia Bao-yu's attitude to them. Cao have divided the female into two types by wedlock: girls and women, thinking higher of the former and lower of the latter in his opinion. Cao or Jia remains with the list of artists and their female aesthetic attitude are influenced by many literature-thoughts styles in history, such as the thought of Lao-zi, the ethos of WEI Period and JIN Period, the liberation of personality, the trend of romanticism thoughts in Ming Period and so on. Jia Bao-yu, being in deep love with "Meaning lewd" is a kind of taste bailment, but it is actually an integrated representation of a literature-history tradition at the end of feudalism period-contradicting truth by affections and pursuing freedom of personality.Cao generalizes one whole taste feeling of girls: limpidity. From the plastic female figures in his works, the idea of belles should possess three characters: good looks, high talent and ample love, especially the last one. However using the vigor of realism style in writing, Cao exhibit the kind and gentle of Confucius female virtues expressed by the representative of Xue Bao-chai and its strong life-force in reality. Cao's wisdom better than the former maybe lies in his regaining consciousness in realizing the transience of taste surpasses, recounting the contradiction between the idealism and the reality according the fact, but not to simply demote or praise it. So, throughout the work of Dream of red chamber, the tragedy of the love has its own significance in meaning and depth.
