Zhang Said That Relations With The Tang Dynasty Literature

Zhangyue(张说), who was not only a famous prime minister of Tang Dynasty , but also a great leader of poets in the beginning of Kaiyuan Period (开元盛世), was a decisive factor to the impending heyday of Sheng Tang's literature (盛唐文学).With the simultaneous death of many older poets which had been involved in Palace Coup and the immature of the younger generation, there was a big break in the metabolism of poets in the beginning of Kaiyuan Period . To be more unfortunately , Tang xuanzong (唐玄宗),who was the lord of Kaiyuan and Tianbao Peroids(开元,天保), had a great esteem for construction of politics and economy , he always gived some punishments to the poets because he didn't think Confucianism and literature is practical to his regime. All of these made the circles of poets come into the winter.It was Zhangyue that changed this condition . With the especial background of family and idea of politics , Zhangyue wasn't accepted by Tang xuanzong in the beginning. But he changed the view and attitude of Tang xuanzong to the Confucianism and literature, promoted and support the backward of poets successfully, which made the circles of poets come into the spring again.Zhangyue not only made the circle of poets come into the spring again, but also did he make a mode copy for the impending Poem of Sheng Tang(盛唐诗歌) .
