The doctrine of Christian theology is a storehouse with rich resources of humanism. This article is divided into three parts from three different angles: the development of man, the existence of man and the essence of man.The doctrine of "Shi" reveals the theory of man's historical development and contains a "falling" dialectic. The concept of "Sin" reflects the alienation of man hi the theological way and this happens to correspond to the "theory of alienation" in Marxism, which advocates a "rising" dialectic. The doctrine of the Trinity and Christology, which contains the theory of "Love" in Christianity, reveals man's social relationship. The theory of "Love" expresses the social being of man in the theological language, which is similar to the theory of man's existence in Marxism. The doctrine of "Free Will" reveals the tri-essence of man, i.e. his essence of nature, of species and of society, while the humanism of Marxism, from the point of practice, unveils man's true essence and thus opens the door to the study of man hi a scientific way.The study of humanism in Christianity is very important to us, since it provides us a new point of view to get a better understanding of humanism and supplies us new elements to the study of Marxism. From the comparison between Christianity and Marxism, it becomes clearer that it is necessary to carry on the study of Marxism in a broader sense, and the humanism in the doctrine of Christian theology is a good resource to be drawn from in order to enrich the theory of Marxism.
