THE LEAGUE OF HANSA played important role in medieval history, The history of hansa is 428 years0 There is few research on THE LEAGUE OF HANSA China and abroad."The article was divided into 3parts: History background, nourishment and degeneration. Section one discuss the history background of THE LEAGUE OF HANSA; Section two discuss the f lourishment of hansa; Section three discuss the decline of league, mainly searching after the reason of degeneration. THE LEAGUE OF HANSA was forming during the expanding and colonization of Norman . The commerce developed the forming cities which around the Baltic Sea. Had accelerated the forming of THE LEAGUE OF HANSA. The decline of holy Empire, The foundation of the league of Rein and the rampantment of Pirate induced the foundation of THE LEAGUE OF HANSA finally.Concerning the reasons of decline , the Article thinks: The political turbulence and Splitting Caused the league lack of the country's large Sustaining; As a organization, THE LEAGUE OF HANSA seemed loose and weak; City's economy developed slowly, there are many feudalism factors in commerce; The Commerce Center was shifted after the great discoveries; THE LEAGUE OF HANSA paid more attention to long-distance-trade than civil-trade, it depended mainly on the abroad market, But it paid less attention to civil market, on the other hand, around country area also gave less sustaining to league; Facing the crisis of city in late medieval age, The reaction of league is obtuse. These factors led to decline of THE LEAGUE OF HANSA.
