Thinking In The Translation Of Scientific Research

Not only two kinds of languages, but also two kinds of thinking modes affect translation. Translation process includes not only language activities, but also thinking activities. In other words, translation process is one of the translator's thinking activities. In translation process, translators first follow the thought traces of author to analyze the original materials, and try their best to reappear the original thinking. People's different thinking abilities should produce different mental state perceptions and judgments, and different translation abilities, which also affect people's thinking activities. So translation process should be the thinking circulation among the original author, translator and reader. Therefore, the thinking of all human beings is the foundation of translation activities.The human brain will achieve translation as an important human creativity. The thinking is a kind of mechanism of human brain. The mechanism of thinking is to reflect the objective law. The law of thinking must affect the law of translation, and to discuss the law of thinking is an important facet to study the translation development from the point of thinking science. When people think, they will choose a certain thinking mode without self-awareness. In translation process, the formation and choice of the thinking modes are important. Translation activities are conversion of thinking modes on a certain degree. Therefore, to study the thinking modes will improve the development of translation studies.From the point of thinking to study the translation is to take the thinking science as an important discipline in the translation studies, to theoretically analyze the laws in the translation process, and provide the translation methods and standard in the practice. And in the translation practice and theory, the thinking research can explain the phenomenon appeared in the translation and benefit to the translation practice.This paper summaries first to study the present condition of the translation from the point of thinking, expatiating the development degree of thinking theory and the establishment foundation of thinking science in translation. In succession, it discusses the thinking science's effect to translation activities, explaining the feasibility of translation from the basic law of thinking, revealing the plasticity of translation from the three basic forms of thinking, analyzing the translation tendency and prosperity from the thinking difference of nations and individuals, and to summaries that thinking comparability is a theory foundation of combined western and Chinese translation theories by comparing the two kinds of thinking. In conclusion, from the translation theories, we suggest to adopt the integrated thinking modes in the translation process so that we can make out more translation activities with more mature thinking.
