In China, pop music has been developing for more than 20 years, so she is very popular. She is not only a kind of art, but a kind of social cultural phenomenon. As an important part of social culture, she can reflects the modern China society in a certain extent. Of course, with the developing of phonotape and videotape package design, the words, illustration, color, etc. of design also develop fast. Chinese pop music and video's package has certainly close connection with modern China society. So the topic has it's own significance.Package and upholstering has thousands of years history, in 1919, the establishing of Germany THE INSTITUTE FOR DESIGN made the modern design standardization and systematization. But now in China, the attitude to the public culture is still distant even evasive, esp. video design, cause it's shot history. With an eye on the combination of culture, society and psychology, my study expounds the style of Chinese phonotape and videotape design in detail.This study based on the general situation of pop music's development andlots of Information, and sum up the style and Idea of the phonotape and videotape design. Reflecting the idea, style and thoughts throughout the imago. Powerful visual wallop, special words style and national characteristic make the abstract expressionism display directly, and then we can get some knowledge to the changing rule of China pop music videotape packaging, look into the future of development and unveil the internal culture attribute.
