JiKang is a quite disputed personage of literary world in the middle ancient times, not merely full of tragic color in his life, And possess the characteristics of distinct era.So in my dissertation I intend to study deeply the JiKang life's abundant connotation, to display the special personality quality and human life state under the culture and history comprehensiveness background, with the basis of tradition of humanities, social background and the process of mental development.The textual contents is divided into eight small parts, besides foreword and conclusion, they respectively are "Intelligentisa' s model; The angel of Way; The Confucianism's Taoist; The Taoist' s Confucianism; The birth of tragedy; The complicated human life, etc."In the foreword, I have explained the reason that I choose JiKang as my researching object, and the state of the past researching. In the text, I think JiKang is not so - called "madman" or a common scholar, he should be called a model who have the thought and responsibility of society in Chinese history of culture. When the WeiJin moment, it is well-known reality to be confused society under the power and wealth's devastation, the worth system of Confucianism was already to lose to support the public's belief. That, because of the strife of powerful families, many intelligentsias felt afraid. Under this state, JiKang still asserted his ideal "way" , however, with the violent conflict between the ideal and the social actuality, JiKang also wanted to quest a new social norm, that it is called "regression of nature" . But JiKang could not realize his ideal for his characteristic, on the contrary, JiKang looked still like a great "soldier" to reveal the muddy reality, he was sufficient to display his unyielding character. So the tragedy emerged.JiKang's character was proximate nature, but the reality transformed it. Since he married granddaughter of CaoCao for his knowledge, he had been drawn into the political eddy. He was doubted by ruler for his status, at the same time he also was a required target by ruler of SiMs because he was a well-known scholar, but JiKang did not surrender to gerent. Finally, he became a martyr.The whole life of JiKang is praised by every Chinese people, it bequeathes us lots of which is worthy of being thought, such as: the fusion between 'way' and 'life' ; the relation of intelligentsia and society, etc. Therefore, JiKang should occupy a important position in Chinese history of thought.
