Building Given The Resources Of The Product Design - Furniture Shapes And Spatial Relationships Analysis

Furniture accounts for much ponderance of the excellent product design in the 20th century. The evolution of modern furniture design may be regarded as the epitome of modern design. Furniture has material and spiritual function, the same to architecture. In the premise, the thesis compares architecture with furniture on the characteristics of the four facets: space, geometry, material and imago. And through the research of the rules on architecture form, the thesis renews and extends the principle of the furniture form. Then, the influences between each other of the furniture and the interior surroundings of architecture have been analyzed. And then the study points out the three immanent relations of architecture, in order to present the "dialogue" between furniture and zoology environment, between furniture and people, and the "dialogue" in the immanence of furniture.The ultimate aim of design is to realize better social value and service, even not to breach natural development. The thesis takes on the thinking of zoology environment and emphasizes the emotion of design. It is intended that the research work could be useful to the modern furniture design.
